What we give has always been important to me. I think it is hard to receive without giving.
If you go to work, you first give, before you receive a paycheck, and this thread of life goes on.
When you give you receive. We have choices in our life, and the ones that we make that create something, give something, do something, are the things that come back to us.
Sure you can stay under the covers all day and not get out of bed. What have you done? You have created nothing, done nothing, given nothing.
What if all you did is get out of bed, take a walk, and say hi to people that you pass. That is giving, doing, and creating something.
Get out there and give, it will come back.
I think this afternoon, after writing this morning, I will go to the park with my son, who loves to go the park, and then we will stop by the store and buy mommy a flower, so we can both have joy in giving.
It doesn’t have to be a lot, but the more you do it, the better it gets.
