Values are tricky things. What one person may think is a value another may not. There are a lot of religions, societies, groups, even individuals that may believe that what one person thinks is right might be wrong.
I am going to suggest some values for this Success Philosophy and if they don’t fit you, I understand, but it won’t change the fact that positive values like these are required for Success Philosophy.
“Doing what is right” doesn’t mean much until we frame it with other values. I believe that everyone goes to heaven, and that you have a free will to pick choices in your life. I also believe that from the day you are born to the day you die, it is all about relationships and your behaviors.
I do not believe that God judges you, and if God does not judge you, why would you want to judge anyone?
If we are judging anyone, then why wouldn’t it be our responsibility to be happy, to be positive, to be kind, and to be understanding.
What we all have is relationships, and our behavior in those relationships. There are many debates about what is right and wrong. Is killing someone ever right? Is revenge not right? What is right and wrong has been a question of all times since before ancient Greek philosophers.
Values are a slippery slope.
It is necessary to treat the people around you with respect and dignity. It is necessary not to judge, but to collaborate to make things better. It is necessary to be honest, and share the truth.
It is important to be kind, and show understanding.
It is important to have love in your heart, not hate.
It is important to give when you think you can give no more.
It is important to have heart.
It is important not to disagree, but give way, and hope for higher understanding.
Is this all idealism? Yes. Does it hurt to have a heart and love?
Do you want to live as a greedy person? Do you think that being mean, and creating rules that stifle rather than instruct, and strict discipline for the people around you is the only way to make money and prosper in this world?
You see in the end, I cannot tell you what your values are going to be. God gave you free will to decide for yourself. But that is what I would like you to think about: You have the free will to decide for yourself.
Do you let other people decide for you what you should think? Does your religion tell you to give money, time, and maybe your life, or you may not go to heaven?
I am not trying to change anyone’s religious beliefs, but I hope I change the way you look at how your beliefs and values guide your today. Whatever your faith, you still want to be the best person you can.
You do have choices. You can be kind, non-judgmental, helpful, giving, successful, and you will go to heaven.
Do the right thing, and not the convenient thing. Explore your value beliefs and see what might be good and bad for your relationships in life. My goal is to help thousands of people achieve their dreams and increase their happiness. Especially yours.
