You Are a Free Spirit
by Step Jones
I was on the Wayne Kandas Show in Phoenix on Monday, speaking about how to be more successful and the opportunities that we have in America. In 1776 when we founded the country you were what you were, pretty much. If your father was a blacksmith you were pretty much going to be a blacksmith, and so on and so on. Now you can pretty much be anything that you would like to be, and that seems to create more neurotics or criminals.
Freedom is tough for a lot of people that can’t function well in a free environment and need to be told what to do. Now I know this doesn’t apply to you. You are a free spirit- no one needs to tell you how to behave. But don’t look now, it possibly is happening to you through beliefs that you have that are hardwired into your subconscious.
It is difficult to change these beliefs in yourself because they are part of you, the fabric within you that makes your life comfortable.
So one of the first things that I do as a life coach is explore what those beliefs are, and if they serve you now or not?
Perhaps you can start this process with yourself today.
Invest in a Life Coach
by Step Jones
1-800-Life-Coach is coming soon. This will be a referral service for people who are looking for a life coach. It seems that life coaching today is becoming more and more something that people are doing and talking about.
On our radio show we talk about people who are athletes, both amateur and professional, who may have several coaches. Yet we, the average Joes, don’t have anyone coaching us- no wonder we don’t have the success that we want.
Why people won’t spend a little money on becoming better themselves is always a mystery to me. But if you want to get better, get a coach that will help you move forward in life.
Call us and let us help.
The Weekly Challenge
Maintaining mental health is important for you if you are to be successful. How do you maintain mental health? Well, one way is to be physically well. Taking care of yourself physically is a great step toward mental health. Get enough sleep and rest, and take a break from stress. What causes stress is that you are focused on the future instead of the now. Think about what is happening now, because most of the things that you imagine in the future never happen. So why do you focus on them when you should be in the now? It doesn’t hurt from time to time to help yourself be more mentally fit. See a life coach or a therapist to help you become more centered; there is nothing wrong with that.

The Sales Tip of the Week
Ask the customer what they want, but just don’t do it one time- because the first answer that they give you may be what is on their mind, but not really what they want. Huh? People have an idea when they come to you about what they want, but as you talk to them about your product or service they may get a different idea about what they want. It is not so uncommon, do you ever come out with something you didn’t think you were going to buy, and not buy something that you thought you were going to buy? Take some time and ask the customer what they want as you go through the sales process. “Is this what you were thinking?” “Is this what you wanted?” Help them understand what it is that they want.
